Requirements

• Kansas LPN License.
• Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Technical School.
• No Previous Experience Required.
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director.
• Assist with patient education.
• Assist provider during the treatment and examination of patients.
• Administer procedures and treatments as directed by the provider.
• Handle the triage of patient calls, including prescription refills in accordance with refill protocols.
• Maneuver in the patient electronic health record (EMR) and document patient vitals and other pertinent information appropriately.
• Give immunizations.
• Document patient information on intake, including identified standards for documentation.
• Order pertinent medical supplies and keep inventory stocked.
• Utilize computer software for patient documentation and provide documentation to patients as needed.
• Adhere to policies/procedures for patient medications and testing.
