About The Position

Maxim Healthcare in Knoxville is hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. The position offers both Full Time and Part Time opportunities, with a focus on one-on-one patient care, ensuring the safest nursing ratio. The job includes various open cases with specific schedules across different locations in Knoxville, providing flexibility in work hours.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
