About The Position

The Clinic LPN administers quality patient care according to established standards. The Clinic LPN may delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel and may be required to work in other areas according to the skill of staff and acuity of patients. This position works under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and the direction of the provider and/or Clinic RN and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, or military equivalent is required.
• LPN IV Cert - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location upon hire is required.
• IV Certification - IV certified upon hire or within one year is required.
• Basic Life Support within 90 Days.
• Driver's License - valid and in state is required if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
• Other duties as assigned.
