Come join our Behavioral Health team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) utilizing a team-based approach to patient care in a fun and supportive work environment. Varied 12-hour day or night shifts and every third weekend in a block schedule, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts based on scheduling needs. Differentials and premiums apply for nights, weekends, and call pay. Preceptor and charge nurse premiums are provided. Flex positions receive an additional 5% of base wage and qualify for full-time benefits. Administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients. Maintains certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Documents a thorough medical history from patient and performs or helps perform a physical exam to determine patient's needs. Discusses information collected from patient with registered nurse and administers medication or treatment as ordered. Consults with physician if necessary. Maintains stock of medical tools needed for registered nurse or physician. May transport and prepare patients for examinations. Counsels patients and family members on prevention and treatment plan for health issues under direction of registered nurse.

Requirements

  • Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements.
