Provides direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency department or inpatient area utilizing various nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction of a registered nurse. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
- PDS IV training as part of orientation
- BLS required
- Basic Cardiac Arrythmia (BCA) for areas with cardiac telemetry monitoring
- ACLS - within 6 months of hire for areas where required.
- Valid NM Drivers license; meet qualifications of PHS driver policy for areas - Home Health and Hospice only.
