LPN Infection Preventionist
About The Position
RIDGEVIEW , a not-for-profit community mental health center headquartered in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) LPN Infection Preventionist/Employee Health Nurse with dual responsibilities for oversight of organizational Infection Control program as well as providing observation/oversight to suboxone administration at a partner facility . The schedule offers flexibility with some weekend availability preferred. Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and possess an LPN license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience and a working knowledge of epidemiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques, to include Standard Precautions, is required.
- Computer skills required, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- Must be a quick learner with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years of experience in Infection Prevention/ Employee Health is preferred.
- Psychiatric/ mental health experience is preferred.
