About The Position
Responsible for performing clinical tasks under the direction of the RN and/or Physician in the Physician Clinic. Under the direction of an RN and/or Physician, contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN and/or Physician. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN and/or Physician, patient, and families. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Teaches and reinforces education appropriately to patient and/or family throughout clinic visit. Performs other duties as assigned.
