Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Proven problem‑solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Home health experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Specialized Patient Care Provide high‑quality, individualized care following each patient’s active plan of care, collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to support the best possible outcomes.
  • Administer Treatments with Skill and Compassion Safely administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments while prioritizing patient comfort, well‑being, and safety.
  • Maintain Thorough and Accurate Documentation Complete detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care coordination to ensure accurate and comprehensive medical records.
  • Educate and Empower Patients and Families Teach patients and their families about disease processes, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies to help them manage health needs with confidence.
  • Build Meaningful Working Relationships Work closely with families—especially those caring for children—to build trust, provide consistent support, and help create a safe, nurturing environment tailored to each child’s unique needs.
