About The Position
This is a WEEKEND ONLY benefit eligible position! Work 24 hours & get paid for 32! You will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Qualification Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with two (2) years clinical experience; one year (1) in the nursing home environment and/or hospice is preferred. Currently licensed as an LPN through the Ohio Board of Nursing; must be able to obtain a license in the state of Michigan. Verification of successful completion of a medication course. Has working experience charting in an EMR system, Net Smart system preferred. Has the ability to work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care issues. Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working condition and is insured in accordance with state and agency requirements. Must be CPR certified according to the American Heart Association CPR standards. Understands and is committed to the hospice philosophy.
