Job Description: Essential Functions: Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers. Monitors patients' vital signs and records their medical histories. Assists with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provides emotional support and education to patients and their families. Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing, required.
  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
  • CPR certification, required.
  • Working knowledge of the concept of family centered care.
  • Ability to function collaboratively within the framework of an Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Problem solving, organization, communication skills and ability to work independently and react appropriately to crisis situations.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a pediatric care setting, preferred.
  • One year of home health experience, preferred.
