About The Position

Maxim Healthcare in Nicholasville is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. This position offers competitive pay and weekly paychecks, along with a variety of benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, and life insurance. The shifts available are Monday to Friday, with day shift hours that vary between full time and part time.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
