We are seeking a highly skilled LPN to join our team at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center! This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, providing exceptional care. St. Mary’s is a 229-bed, acute care hospital located in Enid, OK. St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center has served the healthcare needs of northwest Oklahoma for more than 100 years. We host more than 125 highly skilled physicians offering specialties in Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Laboratory, Women’s Imaging, Wound Care, and more.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in Oklahoma.
• BLS (current upon hire).
• Venipuncture skills required.
• One year of full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• De-escalation training (TEAM) completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements nursing care for assigned patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Demonstrates competency in strong basic patient care skills.
• Performs clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, and specific patient care duties.
• May be floated as needed treating all diversities.
• Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care and service recovery.
• Follows standard of care as defined within the scope of Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Maintains required licensures and certifications up to date.
• Knows, understands, and adheres to hospital/department policies and procedures.
• Follows established hospital/department safety policies.
• Attends mandatory in-services and pertinent seminars.
• Effectively communicates both orally and in writing in English.
