About The Position

The LPN Staff Nurse position at The Blake at Lafayette involves providing compassionate medical care to residents in a senior living community. Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of applicable regulations.
• Deliver world-class care and service to residents while adapting to changes.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently and collaboratively to make decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
