Requirements
- Certificate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
- NYS certified LPN license
- Good clinical patient care and communication skills.
- Must be service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and write in English is required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility
- Responsible for monitoring patient conditions and responding appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with the nurse leadership and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient conditions.
- Appropriately assigns duties to Certified Nurse Assistants based on patient needs, staff availability and unit needs.
