Requirements

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire (state specific).
• Current ACLS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
• Current PALS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Maintains safety, provides patient comfort and care, and improves the overall patient experience in the emergency care setting.
