About The Position
Under the direction of the Practice Supervisor Derm, and in accordance with approved policies and procedures, provides quality care in an effort to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. LPN will maintain patient confidentiality. LPN will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education, inservice programs, departmental competencies and self-development activities.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Current NYS LPN license
- 1 year acute care nursing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Computer literacy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior dermatology nursing and physician office experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record.
