About The Position

The LPN/CMA/RN position at Hannibal Regional Medical Group involves providing clinical support services for the Clinic Physician/Nurse Practitioner and performing effective patient care utilizing the nursing process. The role is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

• Graduate of Approved School of Practical Nursing for LPN.
• Current licensure as Licensed Practice Nurse (IV Certified) in Missouri or ability to obtain required.
• Maintains Basic Life Support Validation.
• Demonstrates skill in area of specialty.
• High school diploma or equivalent for CMA/RMA.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program required, associates preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to prioritize patient needs and tasks.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and assist patients.
• Ability to assess patient, perform vital signs, and complete appropriate documentation.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing for RN.
• Current licensure as registered nurse in Missouri or eligible required.
• 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS required within 6 months of date of hire for Cardiology Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support services for the Clinic Physician/Nurse Practitioner.
• Perform effective patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Implement nursing knowledge and skills successfully.
• Complete laboratory duties as required.
