About The Position

Aspirus Westwood Clinic in Wausau, WI is seeking a Dermatology Technologist to join our team! The Dermatology Technologist assists in the delivery of health care to patients including maintenance of clinical record, documentation, surgical procedures, cosmetic procedures and direct patient care. The Technologist is responsible for planning and organizing supplies, instruments and equipment for outpatient dermatologic surgical and cosmetic procedures. Promotes education of self, peers and students. Collaborates with all team members to assure the safe and efficient passage of a patient through surgical procedure. Prepares a wide variety of patient care activities and coordinates services for medical staff.

Requirements

• Knowledge of surgical and/or patient care standards and practices.
• Graduation from a surgical technologist program, accredited MA program, or LPN program.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
• Current LPN license or Current Surgical Technologist certification.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 60 days of hire.
