About The Position

Silver Lining Home Health Care Advantage Inc is seeking a dynamic and passionate LPN Clinical Educator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional homecare services . This is a full-time salary role, based out of our Georgetown DE office, but is required to travel to our Dover DE and Wilmington DE offices on a bi-weekly rotational basis to lead our HHA educational training class for our new students We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and passionate LPN Clinical Educator . Position Overview: Job Summary The Nurse Educator is a member of the Silver Lining team under the supervision of the Clinical Director and Operations Manager . The Nurse Educator is responsible for the instruction of the Home Health Aide training, orientation, and in-service education for both applicants and active employees. T his Nurse Educator adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations . Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing as a Lice nse Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with the Delaware State Board of Nursing (or compact state)
  • At least 2 years of experience in acute care, public health, nursing facility or home health agency
  • Attention to detail, be organized and possess strong communication skills
  • Have a passion for education
  • Satisfactory reference from prior employer s

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, facilitate , and moderate classroom discussions
  • Follow the regulations of the Home Health Agency Aide Only Licensure and HHA curreiculum
  • Supervise classroom and clinical work
  • Evaluate classwork and assignments
  • Administer and grade examinations
  • Maintain student attendance, grades, and other required records
  • Participate in student recruitment
  • Select and obtain materials and supplies for the course
  • Demonstrate Patient Care in clinical units
  • Complete in-office trainings and continuing education for existing caregivres
  • Promote a positive and welcoming environment that embodies the company
  • Communicate needs, concerns, or ideas to direct supervisors
