Our expert otolaryngologists can diagnose and treat simple to complex conditions in the ear, nose, throat, neck and sinuses. As an LPN on our team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system. A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Knowledge of infection control practices
• Experience with technology
• Computer literacy

• One year of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.
• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
• Follow Code Blue protocol.
