As an LPN on our team, you will work within the Gastroenterology department and support the practice of two Gastroenterology providers. In this role, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population, making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while continuing to grow your nursing skills through hands-on experience and the extensive educational resources available within the Cleveland Clinic system. A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Knowledge of infection control practices
• Experience with technology
• Computer literacy

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of clinical experience
• LPN experience
• Outpatient experience
• General surgery experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.
• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
• Follow Code Blue protocol.
