About The Position

This role involves performing duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development and execution of patient care plans, administering medication with safety and accuracy, maintaining exam rooms and the overall work environment, and documenting nursing care activities. The LPN will also assist with direct patient care, monitor patients during procedures, support the training of other staff, and assist departmental assistants with clinical matters.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

At least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care.
Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
