About The Position

Atrium Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing facility at Stanly Manor. This position is part-time and will primarily involve evening shifts. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with the elderly and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification in geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure residents' comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
