About The Position

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program (Required).
• 2+ years Nursing Experience (Level II only) (Required).
• Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing (Required proficiency).
• Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices) (Required proficiency).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire).

Nice To Haves

• Level II Only: 18 CNE's per year, including 3 CNE’s in clinical specialty and at least 5 CNE’s in Leadership.
• Level II Only: 3 Peer Reviews and Committee Involvement.
