Cleveland Clinic Express Care® Clinics provide no appointment necessary, walk-in medical convenience for common acute health problems. Under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, optometrist and / or podiatrist, you will perform patient care activities and complete required documentation for patients of all ages. A caregiver in this position works 11:00am to 8:00pm out of orientation and then 8:00am to 4:00pm on every third weekend as well as potential floating to provide coverage.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• One year of patient care experience

Responsibilities

• Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients.
• Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
• Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
