About The Position

Find your purpose as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the CentraCare Albany Clinic. The LPN will provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently. Duties may include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, medication refills, prior authorizations, phone calls, assisting with in-office procedures, collaborating with on-site X-ray, and on-site or nearby pharmacy and laboratory services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
• Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders

Responsibilities

• Provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits
• Communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers
• Assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently
• Room patients and obtain vitals
• Handle medication refills and prior authorizations
• Make phone calls as needed
• Assist with in-office procedures
• Collaborate with on-site X-ray and pharmacy and laboratory services

• Pay range $21.85 to $32.76 per hour
