Respect | Resilience | Integrity Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine, MN is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care to our residents as well as administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the assisted living community. We are looking for a caring, compassionate, experienced professional who loves taking care of people and prioritizes communication and engagement. This position requires providing care and monitoring fellow team members. We are looking for an individual who truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents. Compensation & Sign-On Bonus Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Flexible day hours Pay: $23.95 - $28.54 per hour Up to $3,000 Sign-On Bonus – Depending on FT/PT Position Summary The Nurses at Kingsway are responsible for providing safe, high-quality, person-centered nursing care in accordance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, professional nursing standards, and organizational policies. The Nurse collaborates with the management team to support the health, safety, and independence of individuals served.
Requirements
- Possess a current, unencumbered, license and registration to practice as a LPN in the State of Minnesota
- Demonstrate leadership abilities to develop and motivate people
- Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Exhibit ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Flexibility and ability to work under stressful situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed and work autonomously
- Current/Active LPN license in the State of Minnesota
- CPR Certified
- Ability to meet DHS background study requirements
- Ability to commute/relocate: Belle Plaine, MN 56011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to respond to emergencies and provide hands-on care as needed
