About The Position
Vancrest of New Carlisle is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team during the evening shift from 6 PM to 10 PM. This position offers a rewarding work environment where you can enhance and make a difference in the lives of our residents. As an LPN, you will be responsible for implementing resident care plans, performing direct nursing services, and assisting in assessments and evaluations. You will also assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, delegate suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants, and provide guidance and supervision when necessary. In this role, you will consult with healthcare professionals to validate data and record pertinent information in patient records. You will be tasked with identifying and evaluating residents' responses to health problems and treatments, as well as communicating care needs to other team members involved in the residents' care. Additionally, you will be expected to take responsibility for your professional growth and development, ensuring that you stay current with best practices in nursing care.
