About The Position

The LPI Site Lead is accountable for ensuring excellence in operations at the wellsite, prioritizing gas substitution and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising and operating various equipment such as distribution reels, PRS, CNG Trailers, yard spotters, and forklifts. Effective communication with the LPI Logistic Team, customers, Frac crews, and LPI Crew Leaders is essential, along with providing timely updates on stage reports. Safety is of utmost importance, with the Site Lead conducting safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all CNG and Field Gas procedures and regulations. Additionally, troubleshooting equipment issues is integral to the role.

Requirements

  • It is a condition of employment to pass the CNG certification from the Railroad Commission of Texas.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s)
  • Natural Gas Measurement and Composition
  • Knowledge of associated equipment needed for JT units (Filters/Heat Exchangers, Separators, JT Valve)
  • Basic Knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as it pertains to CNG and Field Gas Operations
  • Class A CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsement.
  • At least 3 years oilfield experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Operator experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly identifies and addresses challenges to minimize disruptions in CNG of Field Gas service.
  • Continuously monitors trailer payloads to identify opportunities for process optimization and implements continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for onsite data collection and internal reporting.
  • Conducts thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring the maintenance of all DOT and inspection paperwork.
  • Maintains proficiency in operating all CNG and Field Gas equipment through continued training and development.
  • Initiates and completes the Non-Conformance Reports and informs the LPI Crew Lead promptly of any issues.
  • Leads the rig-up and rig-down of CNG and Field Gas equipment in a safe and timely manner on their locations.
  • Remains with the equipment at all expected times.
  • Performs basic preventative maintenance.
  • Ensures proper LOTO procedures are followed.
  • Inspects units to ensure they are ready to operate on time.
  • Completes all necessary inspection forms for each piece of equipment.
  • Assists in housekeeping before leaving location.
