About The Position

The position at LifePath is focused on providing complex therapeutic and psychosocial intake services, which include counseling, screening, diagnoses, skills training, and routine case management, among other clinically indicated services. All services are delivered from a person-centered, culturally, and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed perspective. The role requires the provision of psychotherapy using state-approved evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Play Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Family Therapy. Additionally, the position involves conducting psychosocial and diagnostic assessments as permitted by the individual's credentials. The professional in this role will ensure that individuals seeking services meet the financial and clinical requirements for LifePath programs and will be responsible for explaining the offerings based on the individual's level of care. Developing individual recovery plans and collaborating with individuals and families to determine the appropriate route of services and level of care is a key responsibility. The position requires collaborative work within the intake team to ensure same-day access to services, necessitating the use of initiative and independent judgment to provide interventions in various settings, including community, home, and school environments. Effective troubleshooting and organization of support, interventions, and services to achieve desired outcomes are essential. The candidate must be capable of working independently and collaboratively, maintaining effective communication with supervisory staff as needed. Compliance with TAC requirements and guidelines for services provided is crucial, along with timely and thorough documentation, effective scheduling, and adherence to crisis procedures. The role has specific productivity targets, including a target of 80 service hours per month, timely signing of progress notes, and meeting documentation auditing standards. Bilingual candidates may also be required to translate for other staff as needed, utilizing approved language in service provision.
