About The Position
As a Local Flatbed Delivery Driver at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their merchandise in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibilities will include planning and executing delivery activities, preparing delivery loads, and following planned delivery routes. You will also assist with merchandise installations or returns, which may involve unloading, installing, and checking appliances and store equipment. It is essential to maintain the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order for each delivery. In addition to these tasks, you will be required to observe safety procedures in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including Hazmat protocols and the safe operation of power equipment tools. Maintaining your DOT and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) certifications is a critical aspect of this role, as is complying with all reporting requirements related to your deliveries. This position demands a high level of responsibility and attention to detail to ensure that all deliveries are executed safely and efficiently.
