About The Position

Food Production - Lowerator Opr PR02 - Full-Time Starting pay: $18.45/HR includes a shift differential of $1.35/HR for working 2nd Shift This position is responsible for operating machinery includes ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Team Members with 4 attendance points or more (2 points or more under probation) will not be considered.
  • You must not have received a written warning within the last 12 months.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing and able to continuously push and pull 350lbs up to 1400lbs on a rail system tubs on a continuous basis.
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 67lbs occasionally and up to 77lbs continuously.
  • Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 77lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
  • Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
  • Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and or stairs.
  • Must be willing and able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Must be willing and able to do repetitive gripping, pushing and pulling.
  • Must be willing and able to work in cold and damp environment (22 degrees).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for transferring product into the slicing area.
  • Responsible for separating double racks that weigh 850lbs into singles.
  • Must be willing and able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
  • Must be willing and able to perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
  • May use SAP if transferred /rotated.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Lock Out Training is required.
