The Fessenden School is an all boys independent day and boarding school serving 540 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 9th Grade in West Newton, MA. Substitute Teachers for the Lower School (Grades Pre-K to 4) have had experience in the classroom, understanding how to manage a classroom and to teach from lesson plans in order to provide continuity of instruction for the students. Substitute Teachers play an important role as the expectation is active and engaged teaching in a setting where students will continue to learn in the absence of their teacher. Compensation: $195 / day (7:30-3:00 pm) or $26.00 / hour if coverage is less than a full day.
