Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Must possess Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A required) and necessary endorsements.
• Two years' experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Hazardous materials and tank endorsements may be required when hauling certain vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize equipment between highways, private roadways, parking lots, driveways, and work zones using multi-axle and tractor vehicles.
• Partner with crews to mobilize equipment between job sites as instructed by foremen to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met.
• Maintain attendance according to company policy to ensure crew operates at normal efficiency level.
• Transport equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time.
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.
• Be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, and time of shift changes.
• Transport equipment with attention to detail and emphasis on safety.
• Perform/assist with other positions for job completion.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition.
• Check truck for maintenance needed and report deficiencies promptly.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.
