About The Position
We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Technicians for a major project in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This long-term assignment will involve extensive construction work, including cabling, rack installation, and backbone infrastructure setup. The ideal candidates will have experience in cable running, termination, and closet work, as well as the ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of an active construction site. The position requires a commitment to safety and collaboration with other trades on site to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for running and managing the installation of the cabling backbone for the project, ensuring all cables are properly supported and organized. You will also be tasked with installing necessary support structures for cable management, including J-hooks, cable trays, and other support systems. Your role will involve pulling, terminating, and testing CAT6 and other low voltage cables according to project specifications, as well as organizing, installing, and managing network racks and closet spaces to ensure all equipment is installed and configured correctly. This position requires flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments, as well as a willingness to stay on-site during the workweek and travel home on weekends.
