As an Integration Technician at STERIS, you will work in an environment where you will install and configure operating room integration systems. This role requires interpreting project documents, using various hand tools to install equipment, terminating cables, and using test equipment to ensure systems are installed and energized correctly. You will also verify all final system configurations with hospital networks. This is a high travel/commute role with significant driving and likely overnight stays.

  • Help install operating room integration systems, including physical placement of equipment, installation, termination and interconnection of all cables, downloading and configuration of software, and testing of all functions per test documentation.
  • Support project installations under the supervision of Integration Specialists with oversight of Integration Project Manager.
  • Provide verbal and written progress reports to the installation leader/project manager.
  • Perform administrative duties in a timely manner including checklists, Siebel entry, expense reporting, time entry, and others as required.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, management, and fellow employees.
  • High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of recent installation of cable/audio visual/electronics experience or Associate's degree in Electronics or similar degree, plus 1+ year(s) of related experience.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of personal computers, video technology, video cabling, networking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and Customer communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in computers and Windows software.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes outside 'normal business hours' and travel extensively to support business needs.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Project management experience.
  • Biomed/Hospital IT experience.
