About The Position

As the Low Voltage Service Technician II, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems which include fire, security, and nurse call systems, in commercial facilities and secure environments. Previous experience is required. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Responding to service calls for a variety of healthcare and security systems, including: medical alert systems (e.g., nurse call), fire alarm systems, access control systems, video surveillance systems ( CCTV), and intrusion detection systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions in these systems to ensure proper functionality. Repairing or replacing faulty equipment and components. Providing technical support and training to healthcare staff and security personnel on system operation. Maintaining detailed service records and documentation. Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless system operation.

Requirements

  • 5 years technical support of security, nurse call, and fire life safety systems (i.e. EST3, Lenel, and Ascom systems).
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
  • Must be able to get required vaccinations/immunizations needed to work in hospitals or medical facilities with patient contact.
  • Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations
  • Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally
  • Move/Transport items weighing 20 pounds, occasionally
  • Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
  • Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
  • Stand or Sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
  • May operate company vehicle occasionally
  • Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, high rise/mid-rise buildings, and/or hospitals with patient contact.
