About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Security Technician for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Long Lake, MN. The work will primarily take place in high-end residential homes around the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul area). This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive pay range based on experience and skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in low voltage electrical systems.
• Experience in home automation, AV systems, security systems, camera systems, lighting control, and networking is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software-related issues.
• Previous experience in residential construction or labor-intensive roles is required.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with basic construction tools, ladders, and equipment.
• Perform rough ins based off blueprints.
• Installation of AV/Security equipment and Lighting Control devices.
• Fishing wires through finished spaces.
• Program Lutron/Crestron Lighting Control; organize and manage Lighting Control Projects once trained.
• Dig and install outdoor systems.
• Maintain documentation of systems.
• Instruct end users for the control of the system.
