Subtek Solutions is currently on the hunt for qualified Low Voltage Techs with experience performing installations in a commercial environment. ' We are a small startup Low Voltage and Electrical Temporary staffing company located in San Diego. We supply Low Voltage technicians and Certified Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians on a temp basis to local contractors in the San Diego area as well as California as a whole.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years field experience
- Basic familiarity with cabling in new or existing commercial projects.
- Reliable transportation to and from work around the SD area.
- Essential tools for the low voltage industry: Punch down tool, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, 6’ ladder, etc..
- ALL PPE Gear: Hard Hat, Gloves, Safety Vest, Safety Glasses and work BOOTS
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 Certification - a plus
Responsibilities
- Cable install: Pulling, terminating, testing and labeling of Cat 5/6 structured cable.
- Familiar with the install of all types of fiber optic, horizontal and backbone cables.
- Capable of Installing pathway systems (cable trays, racks, J-hooks or D-rings).
- Experience with the dressing and routing of cables for commercial MAC work install.
- IDF/MDF Closet and equipment room buildouts, Rack & Stack
- Experience in the install and termination of low-voltage end devices.
- Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints.
