Requirements

  • Must have prior U.S. military service to register with Veterans Launch and be considered through our service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certifications a plus)
  • 2-5+ years experience installing/troubleshooting low-voltage systems
  • Familiarity with low-voltage tools, installation methods, and jobsite best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams/specs according to experience level
  • Strong problem-solving skills and communication in a field environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to perform field installation work (lifting, climbing, varied job site conditions)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting commercial AV or technology-enabled spaces, such as conference rooms/collaboration areas, including displays, audio endpoints, control interfaces, rack/closet buildouts, and commissioning/testing
  • Familiarity working with network-connected endpoints (including PoE), basic network troubleshooting, and signal/endpoint verification

Responsibilities

  • Install low-voltage infrastructure and devices including cable pulls, pathways, terminations, labeling, and equipment mounting
  • Support system integration activities and perform testing/verification to ensure proper functionality
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, power, and device-related issues; complete repairs and corrective actions
  • Perform routine maintenance and respond to service calls to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate documentation (work orders, service reports, inventory, basic as-builts/system notes)
  • Follow job site safety practices, quality standards, and industry best practices
