About The Position

The Low Voltage Foreman leads onsite installation teams responsible for deploying nurse call, security, and fire/life safety systems within healthcare facilities. This role oversees daily field operations, ensuring projects progress on schedule, meet quality standards, and comply with safety and regulatory requirements. Serving as the primary onsite liaison, the Foreman coordinates closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and customers to manage timelines, communicate expectations, and resolve issues to keep projects moving toward successful completion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation (i.e. fire alarm, security systems, and nurse call systems)
  • 5+ years installing low voltage in the Healthcare environment
  • 4+ years in a leadership role
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be able to get required immunizations and vaccinations to perform onsite work at healthcare or other medical facilities with patient contact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise onsite field crews to ensure projects are installed safely, correctly, and on schedule
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot fire/life safety, security, and nurse call systems
  • Coordinate and participate in final inspections with customers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to confirm code compliance and contract completion
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, update work plans, and ensure tickets/issues are properly recorded and resolved
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure all team members follow required regulations and best practices
  • Train and mentor technicians on installation methods, industry standards, and product knowledge
  • Maintain working knowledge of security, nurse call, and fire/life safety platforms, including systems such as EST3, Lenel, and Ascom
  • Demonstrate reliability through punctuality and consistent attendance
