About The Position

About the Role: We are seeking Low Voltage Electricians who can perform installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including security, fire alarm, telecommunications, and data systems. You must also be proficient with Cat 5/6, fiber optics, security camera installations. Pay: $28-$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have an Osha 10 or higher.
Proven experience working as a low voltage electrician or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and low voltage system components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Nice To Haves

Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in low voltage electrical work.
Certification in specialized systems such as fire alarm or security system installation.
Experience with fiber optic cabling and network infrastructure.
Familiarity with the latest low voltage technologies and industry best practices.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems such as security alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and data communication networks.
Ability to work with Cat 5/6, fiber optic cables
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
Perform routine inspections and testing of low voltage systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wiring, equipment malfunctions, and system failures promptly and effectively.
