Position Information: Pay Rate: $55.44+ (DOE) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K matching & PTO. Travel: Varies depending on project Shifts: May require night shift depending on project Position Summary: Under the guidance and direction of the Data Manager develop a working knowledge of our electrical standards & resources: National Electrical Code (NEC), Building Industry Consulting International (BICSI), Telephone Industry Association (TIA), Electrical Industries Alliance (EIA), and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). Have a working knowledge of reading and comprehending blueprints, installation manuals, instruction sheets, schematics, and sketches. Have the knowledge to troubleshoot and repair CCTV cameras and systems, security programs and systems, LAN & WAN, Fiber Optic Networks, telephone systems, Broadband internet and telephone systems. Must be willing to learn and develop field craft skills to operate various pieces of equipment and trade related equipment, machinery and tools. Skilled with operating man lifts, cable certification testers and network analyzers. At all times be flexible, honest, dependable professional and perform quality workmanship in all circumstances. Travel to remote locations may be required as well as flexible shifts.

Requirements

Must show proof of authorization to work in the United States
Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening
Must have a satisfactory criminal background report
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license, personal insurance and satisfactory driving record
Able to access military bases and maintain that status
Working with low voltage cable and conduit
Pulling and terminating wiring cable, such as Cat 5E or 6
Working with DC battery systems
Working with coaxial cables, category rated cables, and fiber optics
Testing and adjusting connections to diagnose problems
Analyzing schematics, blueprints, and drawings of low voltage electronic systems
Installing j-hooks and cable trays
WAP and card access system installations
Roughing in new installations
Dressing and terminating distribution frames

Nice To Haves

Full color spectrum knowledge/ability is a plus

Responsibilities
