About The Position

You will be the Low Observable Engineer Staff for the Signature Management & Survivability Team which is responsible for advancing low‑observable technology, modeling, simulation, and customer engagement. As the Low Observable Engineer Staff you will be responsible for delivering cutting‑edge signature reduction solutions and guiding program milestones. Your responsibilities will include: Perform, analyze, and communicate vehicle signature predictions using Unix‑based codes and tools. Plan and execute laboratory measurements of material coupons to determine physical, electrical, and environmental properties. Research, design, fabricate, and test advanced electromagnetic metamaterials. Develop and maintain signature prediction tools in Python, C++, C#, Java, and Fortran. Lead R&D plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to solve aircraft survivability challenges. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Optics
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance or TS//SCI
  • Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
  • Experience with radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio-frequency (RF) antenna design/integration
  • Expertise in LO modeling and predictions: Computational electromagnetics (CEM), Hybrid Finite Element, Boundary Integral method (FE-BI), Method of Moments (MoM), Xpatch, SENTRi, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, FDTD, Saber
  • Experience with LO integration / multi-discipline air vehicle systems design
  • Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, RF material measurements
  • Programming with C/C++, Java, Fortran, Matlab, Python
  • CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing
