Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL - Class A) with appropriate endorsements.
• Experience moving construction equipment is REQUIRED.
• Familiarity with local and federal transportation regulations.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move construction equipment safely, including loading, unloading, and hauling to destinations throughout CT and New England.
• Understand overweight routing and manage permits for overweight loads.
• Apply knowledge of load securing techniques and weight distribution.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work in both daytime and nighttime conditions.
• Coordinate with ground crews and dispatch.
