About The Position
We are seeking a loving and dedicated nanny for a wonderful family in Pacific Palisades, CA, who has three children aged 6, 11, and 14 years old. The family has enjoyed the support of an incredible nanny for the past 12 years and is now looking for an equally exceptional individual to step in. The primary focus will be on their 6-year-old daughter, who is described as the biggest personality in the house. She is independent, social, and has a passion for drawing and creating. The 11-year-old daughter is a serious gymnast, competing at a national level and training six days a week, which requires a lot of transportation. Both girls share a love for horseback riding, just like their mother. The eldest child, a 14-year-old boy, is sweet and kind, with level one autism. He is polite and respectful but may occasionally need redirection. The nanny will work closely with the mother to ensure that the children are transported to their various after-school activities. The family is bilingual in Russian and English, and while it is not a requirement, they would love for the next nanny to speak Russian and be familiar with their culture. The family maintains certain hygiene standards, such as removing shoes and washing hands upon entering the home, and they expect the nanny to have similar standards or be open to learning them. The position is part-time, with a base schedule of Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM, but there is flexibility to stay later or work occasional weekends if needed. The family is willing to add extra hours to meet a 40-hour work week. The pay rate is between $30 and $35 per hour, gross. The nanny's responsibilities will include school pick-up, driving the children to their activities, meal preparation, and potentially running errands or handling organizational projects if full-time hours are required. The family has a pool and a veggie garden, and they encourage physical activities and screen-free entertainment for the children.
