About The Position

The Lounge Server at Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort, Golf & Marina is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the lounge area. This role involves ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of the dining area, taking and processing guest orders, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the dining experience. The position requires teamwork and effective communication to enhance guest satisfaction and support the overall operations of the lounge.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hotel or resort setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and in full uniform.
• Carry out all reasonable requests by management.
• Follow the rules as found in the Concord Hospitality Handbooks.
• Check assigned station for cleanliness and proper setup before opening.
• Ensure necessary equipment is available for service.
• Complete all assigned side work.
• Attend menu classes and be aware of daily specials and menu items.
• Answer guest questions regarding menu items and preparation.
• Handle assigned floor station and participate in teamwork for guest service.
• Take guest orders accurately and legibly, using proper procedures.
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards.
• Bus and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
