About The Position

The Lounge Server at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to guests. Requirements

• Good conversational skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Positive attitude and outgoing personality.
• Previous experience as a server is a significant advantage.
• Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds (10 kg).
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and attend to tables promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests and provide recommendations as needed.
• Share menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests.
• Accurately and timely record transactions in the MICROS system.
• Approach guests to ensure satisfaction with each dish and drink.
• Clean tables, complete closing tasks, and restock dishes and supplies.
