About The Position

Responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a restaurant or lounge environment. This role promotes food and beverage sales, ensures responsible alcohol service, and creates a memorable guest experience through exceptional service and attention to detail.

Requirements

Previous experience bartending in hotel or restaurant lounge/bar.
Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.
TIPS/ServSafe certification is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems

Responsibilities

Greet guests and team members in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Deliver exceptional customer service while understanding proper service etiquette and flow.
Set up, stock, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lounge bar and seating areas.
Wash, sanitize, and properly store glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
Prepare and serve beverages and food items with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to presentation.
Verify guest identification to ensure legal compliance with alcohol service laws.
Support F&B operations and other hotel departments as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Process payments accurately, ensuring secure and valid payment methods, and issue receipts or change as required.
Present menus, make beverage and food recommendations, and answer questions regarding menu items and preparation.
Complete side work duties and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support shift transitions.
Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Handle guest concerns and service challenges in a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented manner.
Maintain effective communication and teamwork with hotel staff and other departments.
Protect confidential guest and proprietary information in accordance with company policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
