About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain airport security clearance which includes an extensive check of your last 5 years of employment, criminal record, and residence history.
  • Must have at least one year of face-to-face customer service experience in a hotel, restaurant, private club, lounge, or similar setting
  • Must be able to lift up to 14kg.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees and serve as a team player under all types of conditions.
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, irregular shifts including late evening shifts.

  • If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests, communicating with them by name whenever possible.
  • Offer amenities to guests as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests for assistance or information on Airport/Airline operations.5Maintains a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Communicate with food attendant to ensure food products are of high standard in freshness and appearance.
  • Replenish items if needed.
  • Ensures a safe work environment by following all AGI rules and regulations regarding the workplace.
  • Maintain the level of service expectations at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Verifying passenger’s eligibility to access the lounge and welcoming entitled passengers to the lounge .
  • Observing that lounge is replenished and tidy all the times.
  • Ensuring proper set-up is done (morning, afternoon, evening).
